Diphtheria Toxoid Now Available

The Native Antigen Company now offers native diphtheria toxoid, produced from C. diphtheriae strain NCTC 10648. C. diphtheriae is first cultured in optimal growth medium and then harvested, concentrated, and purified the toxin through several rounds of chromatography. Toxin is then inactivated by 3-week incubation with formaldehyde, confirmed by cytotoxicity assay. The resultant protein shows greater than 98% purity by SDS-PAGE, and is frozen and presented in a Tris-EDTA disodium salt buffer. Click on the buttons below for more information.
