Protein Conjugation Kits

The Native Antigen Company offers a selection of complementary, easy-to-use, antibody conjugation kits, with a wide range of labels suitable for use in most applications (IgG and non-IgG proteins). On request we can also undertake custom conjugation of proteins and antibodies.

Protein Conjugation Kits Background

Primary and secondary antibodies are conjugated to different molecules for a variety of purposes, such as for use in therapeutic applications as antibody drug conjugates (ADCs) and in many different in vitro assay formats. Conjugated monoclonal or polyclonal antibodies coupled to a label are also routinely used as reporter molecules in primary or secondary antibody immunoassays. They often form the basis of enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays (ELISAs) and preparing stable and reproducible antibody conjugates is one of the biggest challenges of developing these assays. Enzymes such as Horseradish peroxidase (HRP) and alkaline phosphatase (AP) allow colorimetric or chemiluminescent detection of antibodies in many applications, including ELISA, FLISA, Western blot, immunofluorescence, immunohistochemistry, flow cytometry, and others, across multiple imaging platforms. Fluorescently labelled antibodies are also used for localization studies in cell imaging, flow cytometry and immunohistochemistry. Biotin-labeled conjugates can be used to detect proteins expressed at low levels.

The Native Antigen Companies conjugation kits utilize a novel chemistry to generate highly reproducible conjugates with a range of different labels including enzymes, fluorochromes, and biotin. No reconstitution is required and these kits can be used to generate liquid stable conjugates which are fully scalable from 0.01 mg to gram scale. Each kit includes all of the reagents needed to conjugate the stated amount of IgG at the optimal ratio. Incorporation is highly efficient and purification not usually necessary. Manufacturing quality systems ensure excellent sensitivity, low backgrounds and lot to-lot consistency. Importantly, our kits are also offered licence-free for commercial use.

Protein Conjugation Kits

The Native Antigen Company offers a range of different conjugation kits for a wide variety of applications. Labeling formats include Alkaline Phosphatase (AP), Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP), Fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), R-Phycoerythrin (RPE) and Biotin.
