Protein Expression Services
The Native Antigen Company produces highly purified, concentrated proteins, for use in a range of research and diagnostic formats. Our senior research scientists hold over thirty years of protein expression experience and use state-of-the-art expression techniques. Our proprietary mammalian, HEK-293 cell line is used for recombinant protein expression to achieve human folding and glycosylation of proteins.
Developing Your Protein
Our mammalian cell line is ideal for the expression of:
- Complex folded and glycosylated proteins
- Viral proteins
- Cancer antigens
For projects where glycosylation is not required, we offer expression in bacterial and insect systems, to ensure we can provide the optimal system for expression of your protein. Our production facilities are highly-scalable, with batch capacities of up to 80L.
The Native Antigen Company’s expression team has decades of experience in the field of recombinant protein production. Our development laboratories are staffed by a core team of PhD molecular biologists and development scientists who are able to execute projects as short as a few days, through to long-term programmes of a year or more. From our initial consultation, we develop a project plan to meet your specific requirements, with defined milestones and reporting at every step. We then, typically carry-out a small-scale protein expression test to assess project feasibility before scaling-up to purify larger amounts of your desired protein – minimising your project risk and overall cost.
