Our Dengue Virus Reagents
The Native Antigen Company offers one of the world’s largest ranges of dengue virus antigen, virus-like particle and antibody reagents.
About Dengue Virus
Dengue virus is a rapidly emerging RNA virus of the flavivirus family that can be found as four serotypes (1-4), each of which circulate in tropical and sub-tropical regions around the globe. Dengue virus infection typically results in mild febrile illness characterised by headaches and joint pain. However, more severe forms of infection – especially upon subsequent infections – can present with abdominal pain, persistent vomiting, haemorrhage and breathing difficulties.
With more than a third of the world’s population now at risk of dengue infection, improved diagnostic and therapeutic countermeasures are needed. To support these efforts, The Native Antigen Company offers one of the world’s largest ranges of dengue virus reagents, ideal for use in a wide variety of applications, including assay development and immunisation studies.
Antigens
Our native and recombinant dengue antigens, include key serological targets, including NS1, Envelope protein and its DIII regions. We also offer a unique panel of serotype-specific virus-like particles (VLPs) comprising the Envelope, Membrane and pre-Membrane proteins, ideal for immunisation studies. Finally, we provide viral lysates as a native source of dengue antigens. For more information on our dengue antigens, please click the button below:
Antibodies
To complement our antigens, we offer a range of monoclonal and polyclonal dengue antibodies. These include antibodies specific to serotypes and their key antigens, such as the NS1, Envelope and Membrane proteins. Alternatively, we also offer pan-serotype and flavivirus specific antibodies, including 4G2. For the development of sandwich ELISAs, we also offer matched-pair capture and detection antibodies for NS1. For more information on our dengue antibodies, please click on the button below:
Immunoassays
Finally, we offer three research-use immunoassays for the detection of IgG or IgM, each of which show in excess of 95% sensitivity and specificity. For more information on our dengue immunoassays, please click on the button below:
